Nadya Bokman Orange Acrylic on canvas board, 24 x 32″

I would put this in my bedroom now, and then the dining room after the children left the nest. It’s a good reminder of why I like both painting and sex, and sometimes, I believe, for the same exact reasons. And it makes me blush writing this, but it’s true.

Nadya lives and paints in Saint Petersburg, Russia and tonight celebrates the hundredth year of that nation’s revolution.

A toast to you and your loved ones tonight Nadya. I drink a tall glass of spirit to honor your passion and dreams!

These paintings are available to view and purchase at Quintus Gallery. (315)527-4263. You won’t see them advertised on the front page of ARTnews, because that publication doesn’t know how to print passion—just more money buying money buying faux-intimacy.

¡Viva el Stuckism!

P.S.

Last year I made a painting in admiration of Nadya’s work. Imitation and flattery, ya know?
